Is it possible to add that to a non-power top Sol? I know it would add tons of weight, but I love strange projects like this.

Not all, only about half lol.

It can most definitely be installed in a US Sol, it's just a bitch and a half to get it done.

Yeah, you need ALL the components and brackets and even a different roof. You'd need this control unit that goes beside your gas tank. I SO WANT ONE, but if it gets rid of half my trunk, count that out.

Yeah, I was all ready to go out and hunt for parts... until I realized just exactly what I was in for. Boucoup $$$, adding weight, glacial open/close times, and ... like you importantly noted ... half the trunk space. I NEED that trunk space - I use it constantly. So long, dreams of auto top-off...

I still want one...along with the automatic climate control, EDM aux lights, and one piece headlights.

Screw trunk space. It's not like it's that big to begin with.

it is easier to cut your chassis in 1/2 and then weld on the rear end of the other car. nearly every single body panel behind the doors is fundamentally different than the USDM del sols.
