Pretty much nothing.

If you want to throw some money at the car with the comfort of knowing that it's not going to be made redundant by the turbo, I would concentrate on the areas of suspension, brakes and tires.

You can make 260 whp out of a completely stock internal GSR motor with a properly sized turbo running 9 psi and good fuel tuning. I would concentrate on saving up for the turbo first and worry about the inside of the motor later.

Agreed. For the most part. I feel that an exhaust is about as far as you can go b4 turbo. As long as it 2.5" or 2.75" you'll be fine w/o turbo (won't lose too much backpressure) and once you do get FI, the piping will be large enough to free all the added gases and you'll still be able to bolt it up most likely w/o wasting time and money... other than that save for the turbo.

It'll work alright but ideally you want a 3" exhaust for a turbo. But don't replace what you've got until after you have the turbo.

As far as what exactly you need for the turbo, I would say this:

exhaust manifold
turbo
wastegate
downpipe
charge pipes
intercooler
bov
air filter
oil return line for turbo
hose clamps, fittings, etc

That's basically what you get in a turbo kit.

If you want to upgrade the fuel system and engine management there are several ways to do that.
