Default About to buy a VAFC

I am about to buy a apex Vtec Air Fuel Controller for $200.00 from a friend. I was wondering how easy this would be to install and I am going to have it tuned buy a local performance shop that has a dynojet dyno. Because right now it is tuned for a turbo gsr:fawk: .

anything you think I should know let me know.

Have you modded your engine to the point where it would actually benefit from a dyno tune?

I would skip the V-AFC for now. All it's going to do is look spiffy on your dash and when people ask what it is you can be like, "this is my fuel computer" and get oohs and ahhs.

If that's worth the money then be my guest.

I see where your coming from but 200 for a vafc is the best deal I have found.

$200 in your pocket is a better deal, no? Just because it's a good deal doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it even though it's not going to do anything meaningful.

It's a tuning device. All it does is give you the ability to adjust something (in this case, your fuel map and VTEC point).

You could set it back to the base settings but then it would do absolutely nothing for you.
