Default Damn, undecided...

Damn, I was thinking about getting a B18c, but now Im not that sure. I have my D16z6 right now and everyone tells me that it has potential. What is the most I can get out of my D16??

I'll put it this way. You could dump the amount of money into your D16 that a B18C swap would cost, and still would not have much more HP than a stock B18C. You might even have less. Then you really don't have much room for improvement. Sure you could build a 300HP D16, but you could get a B18 swap and reach that output for a lot less $$$. It all depends on what your HP goal is.

wow, id love you race you...

swapping in a b18c will be around 3500-4000 installed...

D16z6 you already have = 0
Greddy Turbo kit (used or whatever) = 1500
Built Block (rods and pistons) = 1100
Fuel upgrades = 500

Easy 250 hp to the wheels with that setup.

I say go with the b18. I've had both engines and the b18 is such a great engine. You can get so much power out of it. Also what about a b16? maybe you can get one for cheaper? That's what i have in my 99 si and i love it. it feels almost as fast as my gs-r.
