Default Helpfull Tip

I was wondering what you other Teg owners do to keep your antenna from breaking. I know a lot of Teg owners that their antenna either stay's up all the time or it only goes half way up. So do you lubricate it with anything?:naughty: What do you do?

my gf's 90 teg power antenna is broke so her dad just replaced it with a stubby rubber antenna. works fine though. I think the motor was shot.

is it ez to replace an antenna on a 90 teg?
i assume the motor is somewhere in the cargo area. I guess i would have to disconnect it and see if its getting power at all.

Yeah my gay antenna broke, it just stays up all the time. I really don't want to pay Acura just to make my antenna go up and down. So screw it. As long as the radio plays, I'm fine.

i just did an antenna bypass switch so when i listen to cd's its not up. i hardly listen to radio, so the antenna hardly is up.

in the cold though, it does sometimes go down halfway and i have to "assist" it further. just get some silicon lubricant and spray the overlap joints.
