Default Question about A/F Ratio problem!!

Hey , im running an autometer a/f ratio guage on my b17a in my EK hatch. The problem is that the guage works exactly how it should for the first 15 minutes of highway driving (Ie: it moves back and forth, etc.) After about 15 minutes of driving, the guage always drops down to full lean and then quits working all together. My only guess is that i have a faulty o2 sensor? Thanks for your help!

NO codes... which really makes me wonder what in the world could cause this? I mean if the wiring was faulty in any way, it would not work at all. But, like i said before, it works perfect for about 15 minutes and then quits working altogether. I dont know if it makes a difference but im running an OBD1 p30 and i dont know if it checks for "circuit out range" reguarding the o2 sensor? Any suggestions? Please!

No it is far from now.. it is an old orignal jdm one that came with a swap. Probably a good bit of milage on it, etc. I will try and do the standard tests on the sensor but i would hate to spend the money on a new one that will do no good any help?
