Default S2000 emblems...?

Today while I was out and about, I saw a silver S2000 parked that had all the Honda emblems removed, replaced by body-colored emblems with a large red "S" with a small "2000" written beneath it. The wheels were aftermarket and also had this "S" on them.

Anyone know what the deal is with these?

No..., they are not dealer installed options, No...and I don't think you can get them all over. They are made by this guy: Ricks Signature Accessories He's an S2k owner and produces a number of high quality S2000 accesories.

I do agree though, I prefer the stock H's or none at all.

I stand humbly corrected..... I was (obviously wrongly) under the impression he had cornered the market on that particular item

That guy Rick's badges were similar, but not quite the same. The wheels the guy had also bore what looked like the same logo...

Interesting, though!

i don't know if rick's emblems say "2000" under the "S" anymore, but they used to. i'm pretty sure they haven't changed it, but i don't like them either way.

The only aftermarket badges I have ever liked was people making a Honda Integra with OEM badges though not colored ones(Ricey IMO).
