How is wanting to take an insight to a dragstrip stupid...sure It wasn't built to be fast, but hey neither was a Civic, I think it's a pretty cool car and modifying it would be worth a shot.

If launched hard a stock one can run a low 17. I've ran mine in the 18's trying not to take too much life off of the clutch. I know I could run it in the 17's if I got the tires hot and launched it.
