I have an 87 Legend with auto transmission. It's not as smooth as it was before with 132,000 mi. I've read posts that describe in detail how to do "solenoid" maintenance in which solenoids are removed and cleaned for 1st generation Legends. Unfortunately, my transmission doesn't allow for that (there are no external solenoids) and I am wondering if there is anything I can do to my transmission other than fluid flush. Are the automatic transmissions for the 2.5 liter different than the 2.7? Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!
