Default will be installing a 94-97 comptech itr lip soon...

those of you that have installed it before, what tape/adhesive should i use to secure this thing? i don't want it to fly off while i'm cruising on the highway. thanx.

:doh: obviously. i bought it used, so no tape.

try 3M emblem adhesive, that stuff is sticky. Or you could use epoxy.

I think he would like the option of removing the lip in the future, unless you insist on him using epoxy to glue the lip to the bumper.

Industrial strength double sided tape (grey with red plastic backing) from Home Depot. And then if you can, put a screw on each side where the lip ends. (area by the wheel)

That's like the 3M emblem tape I have, good stuff. It's thin so it shouldn't cause gaps or anything when you use it between the lip and the bumper.

i lucked out and got it for only $75. :thumbup: but it had some major cracks in it and the paint was all fugged up (didn't matter though cuz i was going to sand it anyway). so i fixed all the cracks, wet sanded ALL of the white paint off. that was a pain in the ass. primered it. painted it. wet sanded again. polished.. i did all of this in my spare time over the past several months.. hehe h:

it actually doesn't look bad. i'll have to see how it looks like on the car though. if it doesn't suck, i'll post pics.
