Fastest 1.6l single cam...
im looking for whoever has the fastest single cam 1.6l on han, and what their setup is.
i'm getting my greddy turbo civic tuned in the next couple weeks, and want to know if there's any more stuff i should do that might make a significant differance in performance before rolling it on the dyno.
inline pro told me after tuning with my 440cc injectors, fmu, and v-afc, i might expect around 200ish hp and ~200-210 ft/lbs at the wheels @10lbs. does that seem generous???
also, i've been told that running the afc hack is safer than an fmu at 10lbs because of fuel pressure, but am now unsure. the guy at inline said that the fuel pressure is limited by the fuel pump, so it would only reach maybe 100psi max. he said they prefer the fmu becaust it'll idel better and work better out of boost. also, they said they need something in the car that can compensate for boost, cause the afc and ecu cant do anything with it.
just a bunch of wonders/worries i have before i finish this.

any single cam 1.6liter...i mentioned that. any internals. as long as it started life as a 1.6l sohc engine. could have stock internals or forged, could be bored out or stroked...im just very curious to see the potential of the 1.6l single cam engines made by honda.
right now im running stock compression, stock internals (im just gonna get a thicker head gasket).
i have a greddy turbo kit w/ fmic, v-afc, rc 440 injectors, vortec fmu, 2.5" test pipe, 2.5" catback thermal exaust, aem pulleys, greddy type-s bov, greddy profec-b bc, and 16" rotas.

I thought about getting a t3 and RevHard manifold and possibly a crower cam, but I didn't sleeve my block when I had the rods and pistons put in so I probably would be pushing my block too much. But with that I would have over 300whp on pump gas.

This is with a SOHC? Just out of curiosity, what kind of bearings are in an 4-banger with that kinda power, and how long does that engine last between overhauls? Do you end up replacing anything other than bearings?
