97 integra gs, manual transmission. I don't have the manual for it.
I need to know what weight oil to put in my transmission. I remember my old (2nd gen) teg used regular gear oil, but I'm not sure about this car. I suppose I could call the stealer and find out, but I figured I'd try you guys first.
TIA,
Toe

Thanks, that helps a lot, but it leads me to another question. How many quarts are in there? Also, since I haven't been under there yet, is it possible to pour it in, or does it need to be pumped in? (I'm guessing it is the standard 2 plug setup, lower is for draining and higher is for filling)
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

That's correct... upper one is for filliing and lower one is for draining. When I drained my B16 tranny it took just over 2 liters of honda mtf. I highly recommend the honda stuff because the ``fancy part`` is extra additives which will keep everything running smooth. I tried 10w30 in my d series tranny and it started to grind so I went straight back to honda mtf and have been using it ever since.
