I put in my short shifter on my car like 1 month after i had, and this was my first car installation thingie.

It's actually pretty EZ if you just look at it under the car.

pull of ur center console, knob shift boot (if needed) etc so the only thing inside ur car is the stick itself.

under your car there is a bar/rod (not sure what it's called)

but the end of it connects to your shifter.

the end of it should be a |_| shape, with the shifter inbetween
|

each side of the "U" with a bolt holding it in place.

take off the bolt,
pull the shifter down from under the car,
put up new shifter from under the car,
put bolt back in place(and spacers if they come with package)
and your done.

this is the first time I've tried explaining this to someone, and I probably took the long way to explain it, but owel.
hope it helps tas!

edit-

oh yeah and this took me 20 mins tops,
and that's with jacking it up, taking out console etc and putting it all back.

I heard stories that short shifters wear out the synchros really fast. Fact or Fiction?
