Amber Blinkers That Look Clear?

Default amber/clear bulbs

are there any bulbs that look clear but blink amber so i don't see the amber bulbs inside my clears...i like to keep my car legal

yes, i've seen them at pep boys. they are hard to find though. only saw them once. it has a titanium like silver coating but lights amber or what ever other color you want

Or get these. They cost more, but better then the APC bulbs.
Look for them in performance/ specialty shops.

I run w/ them

anyone know where to get 3196 bulbs like that? (for 92-95 parking lights)

They make some turn signal silverstars that light up amber. Only bad thing is the bulb is blue.

go to ebay and type "silver bulbs" or something like that, and you will find them.

You can make your own. Cut two slots into a shoebox lid and place the bulbs into the slots. Cut a quarter-size hole in the center of the two slots. Place the lid onto the shoebox and spray some metallic colored spray paint into the box. Only spray a little at a time. The mist from the paint will coat the bulbs enough to mask the amber color and they will still emit amber light.

I tried this. Not too good of an idea because the bulb get's hot and it will cause to burn out sooner.

heh.... well... they dont make a silver 3196.... but i bought one that had 2 inputs for it.... and it seems to work just the same...... or atleast for now
