Default I went driving with my friend 04 WRX and 99 323i

we did a couple runs from the light. both from first gear rolling speed. i pull on him in first and part of second but by third he's ahead by 1/2 to 1 car
his is broken in stock. i have 225 45 17 Azenis and exhaust. the tires are too sticky. traction control goes on when i shift 1 to 2.
WRXs are pretty fast:thumbup:

a 323 i isn't gonna be some torque beast that will break traction from a 15 punch in 1st....i don't think a E46 M3 will even really lose control if you punch it in first with the stock sticky tires (i think they are pilot sports or potenza S03's or something)

Try the WRX from a dead stop and see what happens, the WRX is inherintely faster than a 3 series. A 330i might be a decent match from a roll, wrx's have awful topend stock.

e46 m3 will break traction :rick: if you disable DSC fully.

they are pilot sports, only 255. e46 m3s really need r compound or at least 295 in the rear

At first I thought you was talking about a STi at first and was wondering how in the hell you kept up with one, then realized that it was just a WRX (still nothing to slouch on).

I thought maybe he added a turbo kit, but his post says he just has tires and an exhaust.
