Default MAP sensor problems?

i was driving my 94 ex tonight and i reved up a little, my car backfired hard as hell at 5500 rpms and then the fuel cut off. it was like i was redlining at 5.5k. one of my boys said it was prolly my MAP sensor and another said it was maybe somethin else. also other then the fuel cut off it drives perfect, actually stronger then ever? confused. any info will help.

then it aint your MAP sensor.


oh, and more info about the car would be helpful... "94 EX" nails it down as a Honda, but not much else than that.

just a stock d16z6, intake, exhaust and headers. nothin else, also i just adjusted my ilder but it didnt really change that much, i doubt thats the prob but just tellin ya.
