how good is your memory?
I'm 32 and it just occurred to me that I don't really remember the details of:
- grade school
- high school
- jr college
- most of college
I also have a hard time remembering sequence of events in my personal life, mostly minor things (where I went to dinner for my birthday vs where I went to dinner for my mom's birthday) ... I remembered that "something" happened, but I can't tell you the exact details.
I do remember work related items easily ... projects, team members, deliverables, details, to-dos, lessons learned, etc. : \
I'm not sure if this is normal.

it's my D in a B
I can't remember jack shit. I especially have trouble with conversations, events, names, etc.
I can remember locations pretty darn well though. I don't have trouble finding my way to places I haven't been in many years. I was also pretty good at short-term memorization when I was in school. I got a 98% in my HS anatomy class because every test was "memorize every muscle in this group, take test 10 minutes later." Similar story with lower-level spanish classes.

I still like honda's. :-/
My memory sucks as well. Have a hard time remembering a ton of shit.
Sometimes when I do remember something, it feels almost like it didn't happen.
It's scary sometimes because my mom has Dementia / Alzheimer's.
I've smoked a lot of weed in the past though, so I blame a lot of it on that.

I have done and do some stuff that should degrade mine, but I remember many things. Like Dave, I can visit somewhere new once and remember my way around years later. I really remember knowledge-tasking items; Trivial Pursuit is one game I will always win. I'll never forget a face, but sometimes the name or some basic details from passing conversation will escape me.

I have a horrible memory. I remember things by repetition, either talking about it, writing it...whatever. I am sure relying on my phone's calendar, using GPS and have massive amounts of post it notes have not trained my mind to remember things either.
