Default JRSC H22 Prelude

I was quoted $850 by Oscar Jackson JR to install/dyno my Prelude Base H22. How reliable is the stock engine with a base 6psi? I would like to know if there is anybody here that has done this? I would think that if anybody out there knows best with the charger it would be Oscar himself.

I was also told by Oscar in Westminster, CA that I no other modifications required if I am only using the base kit @ 6 psi. There is currently a Groupbuy for $3050.00 shipped on this supercharger. I would like to know if anybody has any information that would assist me in making the right decision would be greatly appreciated. My car currently has 73,000 miles.[

those kits are designed for 100k mile life. so i would not worry about issues regarding the quality of the kit.

get a compression test to make sure your engine is healthy and go for it.
