Default Civic 92-95 Tail light question

Has anyone tried clearing out the orange tint on the reverse lights? If so, how? thnx

heh probably just easier to buy diff ones. But I know what ya mean, that orange is so gaudy, but then again so are the tailights.

actually over the reverse light white part? i believe coupes have no orange over it, and sedans have it. i only say it because when i bought some coupe taillights, it doesn't have the orange over the reverse light part.

yeah, i know what you mean about the orange, even though it kind of has its nice subtle qualities about it :a:
well, i had a leak in my 94 hb so i went in for a closer inspection, in doing so taking out the outer taillight,having seen red/clear tail lights sold on ebay for 50 bucks + another 50 to ship, i figuered i could make em myself. i thought i could use the same process to open up the headlights on the tail lights by heating up the silicon and ruining a knife as you pry em apart. it was easy... and i can verify that the orange refector IS A PART OF THE TAIL LIGHT, but i wasnt wiling to admit it and got stubborn so now im driving around with a leaky trunk, and a broken tail light :tfg:
