Default throttle body CLEAN

just cleaned my throttle body today for my 6gen accord

You will need:
-Screw driver
-1 can of Sea Foam
-a Can
-a baseter tube or funnle tube
-a straw (from a sports bottle)

This is the engine bay

Your throttle body is connected to your intake

you want to remove it by using your screw driver, then you will stick the straw into the throttle body plate inside

It should look like that with the intake removed

you can stick the tube in to the TB

It should look something like this, you can pour the Seafoam into the funnel slowly 1/3 of the can your engine should choke and cut off you'll also see smoke coming out of ur exhast, once you finish pouring the SF into the intake let your car set for 5mins then start your car and go for a ride WOT.

start your engine and step on the gas a little

POOF a shit load of smoke will come out

Time for you to get in to your car and go WOT around the block maybe even a trip on the freeway.

Do this a couple of times

the trottle plate is INSIDE the throttle body you have to use your finger and push the straw in, its difficult to take a picture of it. Looks just like a carbator but sideways.

Hmmm that kinda helps. Oh well I just don't know how do you get that place in the first place. Do you have to remove the intake or what?

great idea with the straw, for some reason i didnt think of that, and just used a turkey baster to inject it in, while pulling a little on the throttle cable, spilled a lot of shit all down in my engine compartment, hope it doesnt hurt anything
