Default 92-95 civic a/c vent removal...

the one all the way towards the passenger side... i'm so afraid it will break if i pull it too hard...how to i get it out of there? i dont wanna mess up the area around it with a screw driver or whatever... anyone?

there are these lil metal tabs that keep it in place (i think)........you might wanna try removing glove department and look in where vent would be and see if there is a way to remove them.

yeah you remove the glove box and get it from inside the dash

iight thanks...

car comes back from paint in like 2 weeks, so all i gotta do when i get it is paint the dash components and thats it...

A/C vent Removal

If vent tab is broken then there is no need to change whole vent just replace the tab this is best to you. This is also save your money.

It's dubious. Be that as it may, in the event that you've seen the two little clasps in the ring, you are almost there.


Fundamentally, those clasps (two of them, straight opposite each other), need to BOTH be pulled in toward the focal point of the vent.


It's anything but difficult to pry one up with a long screw driver, however you can't haul the vent out unless you pry BOTH up in the meantime.


Utilizing two screwdrivers, continue working it until you get BOTH clasps pulled up in the meantime.


When you do that, the vent will haul straight out at you. In the event that you have somebody there to haul the thing out when you get both clasps pryed up, that makes it less demanding.


I mined alone (and didn't harm anything), so it is conceivable...
