Installing Engine Mount Inserts
i got Energy Suspension Engine mount inserts, and i'm trying to install them on my 96 Integra. the one i'm having trouble with is the rear mount. i'm having a hard time getting the bolts off. has anybody put these in their car? if so, do you think you could give me some tips about how to go about it, and what you did you yours? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

sorry man but i havn't done it yet, i'm not sure where the acctual inserts go on the rear? i assume they probably bolt up on the fire wall becuase the best i remember was just a straight bolt up to the bell housing of the tranny, i never did take mine free from the fire wall, i'll try to get out the manual when i get home. are you having a prob. getting the bolts out of the fire wall or out of the acctual insert?

i was having trouble getting the bolt out of the insert. but it's all good. i looked at it closer and found that the mount is cracked, so i ordered a whole new one anyway.

I had some in my 2000 Si and I did not like the harshness with the rear one on. If it's a daily driver, i suggest you just put in the driver and passenger only. I had stock exhaust and when the rear was in, it sound like i was running straight out my header. It was freaking loud and annoying. But it works good without the rear.

The inserts did not change my exhuast note. It just make the vibrations and sound from the motor transfer into the body of the car. You can feel the vibrations and sound of the exhaust inside. But outside there was no change.
