Tires for S2000
What tires would you recommend for the S2000?
I have gone 10,000 miles on my original tires (Is this normal?) and my rear tires are almost bald. My front tires seems fine and can go probably another 5,000 miles. Would you change all the tires anyway?
What tire would be best for the desert heat (Las Vegas summers can reach 110 degrees on a normal day). Does it matter?
Please let me know as I need to get tires soon.
Thank you.

I'm not sure why you bought an S2000 if you want a high mileage tire. The best tire I can suggest is the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 which is far better than the S-03 and SP9000 from tens of thousands of miles of personal experience.

Well, I have 3 other cars that I drive regularly and I use the S2000 for those nice long drives on tristy roads. I will sometimes race the car around town, but not normally.

I'm going to buy the following within the next week for my street tires. My track tires are Toyo RA-1. I use 225/50/16 on the front and 25/45/16 on the rear for both the track and street.
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
Soft tread, stiff sidewall and a high wear rating
If I were to want to spend a more money, I go with the Bridgestone S03. But, I can go through nearly two sets of Kumho for the price of one set of S03.
