Painting Mirrors
I painted a set of mirrors, I put a lot of coats of clearcoat on it but it wasn't enough to give it a nice smooth shine. Anyways I put them on the car for a few months, and now I wanna finish them off.. can I just clean them, then spray more clearcoat on top?

I know how to prep and paint parts,
but I'm just not sure if I should keep applying more layers of clearcoat.
I painted and applied clearcoat on these mirrors a few months ago, but the job wasn't complete.. I put them on my car anyways for a bit. Now I want to finish them off and add a few more layers, they don't look smooth like the rest of the body.. just wondering if I need to sand it down and start from scratch? or just prep it and apply more clearcoat

yup sand that sucker down you got to use a 1000 grit sand paper to make that smooth mirror image... But when i did mine i had trouble with the clear coat also the spray would leave a blurry non mirror image.
