Default Will the paint come off?

I Spray-painted my taillights with like I think it called night-vision or night-shade? . I forgot. but I painted them about 4-5 months ago and want to re-do them. Is it possible to get the paint off? What should I use and what should I do to get it off? Thanks.

Nail polish remover with acetone can cloud or dull plastic (at least with some other projects I've worked on. There is a non-acetone base remover, but I can't say what the end result will be. Whatever you use, do a spot test.

1000, 1500, or 2000 grits sand papers and wet sand them, since you're re-doing them, don't need to get them completely off, wetsand them will prepare the surface for your new coats

Rubbing Alcohol, Goof-Off, or just Wet-Sand to clean up the surface so the new paint will stick again.
