i did do the work myself,..it wasnt hard but i do all my own work,..if you are not that comfortable with your motor i suggest you not do it yourself,...it ran fine when i had it but i have since took off the head to sell (going with a different motor *cough2.2cough*),...the head was cheap because i bought it from a friend,...but i dont remember how much everything cost me

a purge kit is just to "purge" air out of your nitrous lines some people with turbo set up's use them to help cool the intercooler or the air going into the intercooler i have even seen people use that to cool the solenoids please people correct me if i am wrong

my car ran fine,...didnt have any problems with it,..and i would pull pretty good on my boy in his GSR integra without spraying,...when i had my LS/vtec setup at the track i was spraying a 75 shot,...i managed a 13.2 with shitty 60s,..i was spinning through first and second all day

LSvtec is notorious for leaking oil,..its because people either try to tap them themselves or they have a shitty machine shop do it,...if you have a good machine shop do your work then it will most likely not leak oil

and a purge kit is only to clear out my nitrous line,....its so the nitrous can flow better through the line

thanks ALOT widebody. i was really thinking about doing LS/Vtec but it all sounds like too much for its worth, i dont plan on forced induction or anything. I was about to get a b18b1 from a friend for a good price but i think i'll save up for a b16a2 or b178c1 all motor. wut do ya think?
