Default shocks/struts for a lowered accord

I lowered my 4-door accord a few months ago & now that the springs have settled, I am looking to upgrade the shocks & struts to some out the ride before I manage to blow-out one of the factory struts.

What would be the best shock/strut combo for my application? How much can I expect to pay? Where can I go for the best price?

1998, 4-door, 4-cylinder, 1.5" eibach pro kit

THANKS!!!!!

I suggest Tokico HP Series for a moderate priced strut that wont bust your wallet. They will last awhile on low springs I had them on my 91 w/ H22 for 2 years.. no problems.

just ask tornactive.com ^

I've heard good things about ImportHorizon.com too, but you'll get the better price at tornactive.

best bang for the buck: kyb agx shocks

best shock all around: koni yellow shocks

you can find good deals at groupbuycenter.com.. cox import has the best deals on the kyb's.. both shocks have externally adjustable damping settings and are the recommended the most.

As of right now, KYB does not make the AGX shocks for the 6th gen Accord. Apparently they are "about" to come out...I hope so because CoxImports has them for the 5th gen for $340 shipped. That's a deal!

I'm rolling on GC coilovers and tokico illumina shocks... they sell them in pairs, 219 front, 219 rear at speedpeople.com... i got mine from landspeedracing.com and they matched that price. I've got my car lowered about 2" all around and they ride great. I've heard horror stories about 6th gen accords and HP shocks so i went with illuminas... holla
