Default 225/40/18's Perfect for Accords

https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...threadid=72600

I think this size is more Accord based then any other car so I'll give this thread a try here.

Anyone rolling on a 6th gen in or near Ohio needing cheap tires for some 18's? They are taking up space in my garage they definately have over 1/2 their tread life left. I'd be willing to part with the complete set for like $50.00 or something. That is a steal--it would cost almost that much to mount them. Summers coming if anyone needs a set of cheap 18" tires for rims let me know. There is even a shop in my town that can mount them for you on the weekend.

though 235/40/18 are really the right fit for 03 accords, the 2.3% speed difference doesn't bother me too much. I'd take them for $50 shipped. ...

Oops - actually i'm going through OH This weekend - or Friday I mean- Quite the coincidence. I'll take them for $50 - pick them up if we're going to be near-by. I'm not sure exactly where in OH I'll be - my Dad will be driving - he wants to go somepalce .. long story - anyways - let me know where in PH you are - and perhaps we can arrange something ...

I used them in the rain for over a year w/out any issue.
Never hydroplaned once, and I hit some really big puddles.

I was more worried about my AEM CAI then I was the tires, that's for sure. They gripped well too.

What's your wheel offset--that will affect the tire rub too.
