This weekend im thinkin about doing 2.25" piping from the cat-back and then put a stock muffler on and flare out the outlet to try and see if i can make it look like the apexi ws exhaust, what do yall think? and how do you think it would sound and perform?

i wouldn't keep the stock muffler... the piping would then be pointless...

I agree with Tirod. It doesn't make sense to put a CAT on and then put the stock muffler back on. In my mind that would be a half ass job. IMO

Stock cat with 2.25 pipes and a flared muffler...doesn't seem half-ass to me.

Sounds like a coo project. Post back to see how it turns out.

Can always get a better muffler if using flared stock doesn't work out.

Good luck.

go ahead and waste your money bro.. seriously the stock muffler is very restrictive and even if the gases got to it faster it will still back it up.. you need something thats made for performace.. there are options out there.. do a search... check out RS*R also... their's exhausts sound killer.. and def not loud and buzzy
