Default Can I swap a CL-S engine into a 98 AV6 Coupe

I recently have come across a 2000 CL-S engine and I know that it has more ponies and better low to mid's than our AV6's. My question is can I swap in this engine without doing some major surgery to my engine bay? Can this swap actually be done? Has anyone done this before?

it can be done its gonna be pricey though. alot of people at one time were doing the swap but mostly for show reasons. the preformance benifits probably dont match the price point but something is better than nothing. hopefully ur doing the auto 2 manual swap (did the 2000 come with 6speed?)

2003 is the year that the 6spd was released. There is some guy on the CL board selling his 03 CL for $8000 it got wrecked. The engine is still good and so is the factory navi.

damn i guess if you had it wrecked its worth the cost to strip and mod another car with the parts but is it still worth it though. just to have a slightly faster accord

yeah, unless it's a show car or you have alot of money/time your better off buying a cl-s or maybe even a new coupe.
