Default Red character Shift Knob

I got really bored, I melted red crayon wax over the numbers and gave it like 3 sec. and wiped it off. Cleaned access wax off with tooth pick and done

Not sure how long it would last; I leave an update if anything happens.

thanks,
Mike

what's gonna happen when it gets really hot in your car? it'll melt, then you'll go to shift your car and the wax will be in your palm.

Unless a clear sealant or something was put over it.

They car was kinda baking in the sun yesterday, didn't melt, But there was a funny wax smell. Lets try the sealant this weekend and wait till it warms up again

thanks,
Mike

I live in AZ id burn my hand the first time i went to touch the knob, probably with burning wax stuck to me, find some way of sealing it for when it gets toasty, but that is a mighty creative idea, good job buddy, looks good

Well I was thinking about a slow curing epoxy and Red Epoxy Colorant. But you know when you play with epoxy, it's kinda harsh or plastic, rubber, leather etc. ( it could warp or discolor)
I'll experiment some more when I get my new shifter.

For now, clear glue and a perfectly cut sheet of plastic....

thanks
Mike
