Default Acura Cl Type S Head On V6 Coupe??

I was looking at the Acura CL type S and the engine is SOHC similar to the Accord v6 coupe. Does anyone know if this head swap would work?

with the older J30 motors, it might be... I doubt it with the new one though because of all the refinements.

The Accord V6 is J30, the CL-S is J32A2. It might work, but I doubt it would be worth the effort or money.

maybe but u gotta realize the .2liter displacement is a huge HP/torque difference.. just look at the f22 and f23 its only 5hp for the .1liter difference.

I'm counting only about a 20 horsepower difference between the 2003 Accord and CL-S. I doubt a head would get all 20 back.

I've heard of gains of 15HP when switching heads with the J30A1. The J30A2 wouldn't get that many benefits though. But cams, etc. are interchangeable, etc.
