98 Honda Accord EX 4 Cylinder Engine Swaps Suggestions???
I have a 98 Honda Accord EX 4 Cylinder Manual Drive and theres about 120,000 miles on it and I want to know if there is any good engine swaps or parts for more horsepower or is it not even worth trying to hook it up?

since you're a n00b, I won't flame you. But you should do a search (in the upper right hand corner) for engine swaps. There's many things to learn in import scene. One of which the engine swap is the most popular. The cost of swaping out for a new and stronger engine will varies. Many Honda enthusiast prefer H22 Swaps (Prelude Motor) or B18C or Type R (Integra) for their Accords, or Civic, etc.
I'm not familiar with the 6th Gen, but Hopefully I can get something right. Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone. h:
Since you have a 6th Gen EX sedan, and have the cash, you might as well want a 6th Gen V6 motor (F23 I think, I'm not sure) which will give you roughly about 200 HP, plus it's a bigger Engine, easier to push that heavy 6th Gen. However, it's hard to fine a F23 for cheap, so you might as well consider for a smaller engine such as H22A (JDM) or H22A1 or H22A4 (USDM). They're cheaper and more popular.
If you don't have a cash and want bolt-ons for you Engine, you can do so by starting with Cold Air Intake, Headers, and Exhaust setup. 120K miles is not much for a Honda Engine, it's decent if you maintain your engine regularly. Other small bolt-on part that'll give you car some juice is a theap old way of Nitrous Oxide. It's the whole new topic but you can boost you car for an instale 45-75 HP with a N2O kit (about $350 - 800). However, misuse and abusive will lead your engine to faster wear and break down.
You can choose an alternative way and save up the cash to Rebuild the motor (if you don't want to spend a lot for a swap) and go for All Motor. That I do not know much. Hopefully the All Motor Squad will fill me in.
I've been rambling on for a while now, some one please fill me in and do not flame the n00b.

a problem w/ H22+6thgens is that the tranny mount doesn't lineup, it has to be custom made...a J30-V6 swap will take a lot of work becuz nothing is shared with the F23 I-4. if you do V6, the "J32/V6 Type-S 6spd" would be in your best interest, since you are 5spd now. becuz you have a 6-figure mileage, a turbo kit may not be a safe idea.
do NOT consider any other motor than H23/160hp, H22/190-220hp or V6/200-260hp
