Heated debate at work
I work at toyota, and there is a bunch of country boy mechanics there that are in love with domestics.. Every day I **** with them and say an s2000 will eat up a cobra any day of the week and they get so fired up and pissed off. I dont really know much about either cars so I figured this would be the place to ask.. Which do you think is faster? in the 1/4, 0-60, and top speed..

One of the mechanics at the shop I go to occasionally is a country guy... the type of the guy who says, instead of "short shifter"... and with a perfectly serious face... "a shortened stroke gearshift lever."
I honestly don't know what he's doing at a shop that only works on Honda/Acura... the last time I was there he was debating mustangs... Roush vs. Saleen.
The S2K won't beat the Cobra in any of the traditional speed tests you mentioned... but there are plenty of other imports that will, if you still want to raise the hairs on the backs of their necks...
