Default so this kid wants to sell me his 92 accord

its an lx with i/h/e looks somewhat clean. Anyway, the major problem is that its now leaking oil. He's gonna take it to a shop today and see why. The leak is pretty bad too. He left it out in the parking lot for 15 min. and there was already a pretty big puddle of oil. I already have a 5gen and want another car for a project car. Anyway he says he wants $800 for the car. Would you buy it?:boink: :eh:

its gonna cost you at least 500 to patch a leak like that

however, an accord that runs well for 1300 isnt such a bad deal. . . is it 5 spd?

if it is a 5spd I would buy it. I would tell him not to fix the leak and pull the motor out as soon as I get it. How much do you have saved up???

h22. theres no reason to try to spend a bunch of $ to fix the f22. I would buy it and swap the engine.

:werd: even thoug the 4gen engine bay is kinda tight the swap still is a good deal for that price.. u can always sell the i/h/e and make back part of the purchase price real quick

thats true, I've wanted a 4gen for a while now, only if I couldn't find a crx(which I haven't) so hopefully it will work out. BTW, any ideas on what the oil leak problem could be??
