94 accord Lx coolant temp sensor ?
Hi,
I have a 94 accord LX.
I need to test the engine coolant temp sensors.
I located 2, one on the upper radiator hose on the engine block.
the other at the lower radiator hose near the thermostat housing.
I measured the resistance with an DVM. it is > 10 Meg Ohm on both. (esentially open ckt)
Qt. is this OK?. what the resistance be at 20 C/75F .
does anyone have the specs and how to test it.
I heard they are resistance type temp sensors.
