Can't locate starter on 3.0 CL
Hi to all! Can someone tell me where I can locate the starter on my 3.0 CL engine? What does it look like? My car won't starter, and I think it's the stater. I hear a clicking when I turn the key, but the engine won't turn over! HELP!!!!

If you hear clicking, then your battery is probably dead. Go buy a new battery and replace it and see if it works.

try jump starting it first... A: save a trip to the store B: save the $80 on a battery and find out thats not it.
If a jump works, then yes, it is the battery... if you're just getting a clicking (repeating im guessing) sound, it most likely is a dead battery... then you'll want to look into why the battery died... u leave something on? is the alternator bad? the battery just weak?
Also, make sure the connections on the battery are tight... a lose connection can make the car act like the battery is dead.

Thanks, that was the problem... I jump started the car. The battery would not hold a charge. I have gone out and bought a new battery!
Thanks, again for your help!

have the charging system tested in the car too, just to be sure there isnt a problem that lead to the battery dying.
