Place you bought your motor from, and how you like them.

I got my motor from www.sohfast.com but in reality it was shipped from Import Auto Salvage in NC.

Good experience kinda expensive but great swap. Doesn't burn oil, my third gear grinds at redline.

Other than that great.

List the place you bought your motor from and how you like 'em.

bought a obd1 GSR swap from ARD - good service and very clean, a little pricy, but you get what you pay for most of the time.

just got my 94 b18b from Tony Napoli at American Speed Center In York, PA for 1200. Awesome guy and great price. He mostly deals with gsr's though, but can get pretty much whatever you want. If anyone is interested, drop me an email and I'll get you his email. Again, real cool guy and very professional.

Anyone ever dealt with Showdown Motorsports in Toledo, OH? http://www.showdownmotorsports.com/

I am considering doing a motor-swap and I am far from mechanically inclined. (I bleed changing my spark plugs). I want to find a place that can do good work dropping a B18C5 in my 99 EX.

Mid-West Recommendations?

Jim

Hmotorsonline. Quick and easy, pretty good prices and fast shipping.

Only negative is the charge for paying with a credit card.

I got my ZC w/ tranny from nippon-motors.com, but I was unhappy with how long it took to ship, I am about to order myself a JDM d15b vtec from alljapaneseengines.com for really cheap, I'll let you all know how I like the process with them. Their rep was hella cool, he called me back promptly and gave me the info I was looking for (such as if it was the OBD1 vtec or OBD2 3-stage vtec).

I got all my stuff from the junk yard...except for all the internals that I got from all over the face of the earth. And for the B16 head, I got that from flash options.

Pro-Link Japan in Hallendale FL. They fly to Japan every three months or so and hand pick their engines out of running cars. If they don't like the way it sounds or drives they don't pull it.

Great price to, Not the cheapest but you don't have to worry about ripping the engine back out to warranty it.

They are a complete importer bringing in engines for Honda, Toyota, Mazda, and Nissan as well as other parts.

Reasonable prices and reasonable shipping if you aren't local.

The number is 954-894-0235 ask for Bryan. Tell him Jose with the H22A 4th gen Accord refered you.

All other tid bits like my pedal box assembly and clutch master cylinder (converted from automatic to manual of course) I got from Import Auto Salvage in NC... really cheap and they ship anywhere.

I agree, I had my swap all budgeted then I got hit with the credit card fee. They are the best though, worth the extra fee. I got absolutely everything I needed and didn't have to hunt salvage yards for anything. Really knowledgeable and helpful folks.

well a lot of times they're still waiting on the boat to arrive before they can off load it and get it to you if it's a JDM motor so that could have been the delay

I think the credit card fee when I ordered my H22 was like $50; I honestly can't remember, I do know that it was a percentage of the total.

I paid a total of $3014 for the complete motor swap, the correct axles, the ECU, the Hasport mounts, shipping, and credit card fee.
