Default K20 civic?

i came across a heck of a deal on a K20 and was wondering if it was worth tryin to swap it in to my 94 hatch. My first instinct is tellin me that there's too much custom work to be done. I dont' really wanna spend a butload on gettin the engine to fit. BTW, does anyone know how many ponies a d16y8 pushes? thanks.

WAY too much monaay and custom work...but anything is possible with enough $$$!! It would be very original and a fast ass car, but go for it if you like....

D16Y8 is 127 chp

I say it's not worth it cause you will have to make your own mounts and everything for it... you'd spend more getting it in there and working than you would buying the motor. If you have the money, SWEET! I'd love to see that thing in a 5th gen hatch :naughty:

if it is a really really good deal on the motor, buy it and then sell it to some one else for a little profit. the money you make on the deal could help pay for a b18c1 + install or a b18c5 if you really want that NA 200 chp.
