Default Head Light :(

I have a headlight out on my 98 Accord Coupe. Should i just go for a OEM replacement? or should i buy a set of those fake HID's on ebay?

for example

Just buy OEM dude. I hate those HID look alike bulbs. In some instances they are even higher wattage then OEM and end up melting your factory headlamp wiring.

If you can't get the real thing like for example:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36476

Then just wait till you can. At least thats the way I see it.

Buy a pair of Sylvania Silverstars.

They are high quality, brighter, and whiter.

You can get them on eBay, or from your local auto parts dealer, for example... PepBoys, Autozone, etc.

...or you could do a 9005 converted and use Cool Blue or SilverStar bulbs, they're much better than stock!!!

Cool blues suck dude... just spend the extra money for Silverstars.

I agree with doing the 9005 conversion if you really care that much... otherwise just stick with 9006's. I love my 9005 Conversion, but to the average joe it isn't worth the effort.

i used hyper industries "superwhite" blubs for over 3 yrs. theyre not too bad. i dont do alot of night driving outside the city, so the output is enough for me. when i carve canyon roads at night, i use my highbeams.

the light output of any fake hid bulb is less than a regular bulb. but for me, the blueish tint look is worth it.

Showoff Krypton bulbs are really good, they give off the blue tint and are really brighter than OEM!
