re-built trans
I have an '88 Legend with trans problems. Today I flushed it and added 3 oz. of an additive for Honda transmissions. It doesn't bang into 2nd. anymore, it just revs forever going into 2nd. and 3rd. The additive said this could occur. Tomorrow I'll flush it again and see what happens.
My question is this, if all the above does not work, who makes the best re-built transmissions,I'll take any and all suggestions.

Go to the local junk yard and grab a used one or ask acura to give you a quote on a rebuilt one. As far as I know they are all the same for the most part. I got a quote for $2100 for a re-built trans on my 1989 Legend and I decided to get a 3.2TL instead.
