18 inches w/ tires
Im trying to decide between 18" hacing hart c5's and 18 x 8 inch
Axis Se7en Mod. You can check out both at wheelmax.com
Basically i was worried about tire size and rubbing. Since the se7ens are 18x8 i would probably get the 215/35/18 tires to go with it. I also have about a 3" drop w/ ground controls which i would raise, but i dont like more than a 2 finger gap and im not sure if i would rub or not. The c5's are 18x7.5 so i could either get the 215/35/18 or 225/40/18. Im still worried about ride comfort and tire durability so im leaning toward the thicker sidewall.
Any tips from the experienced and rim opinions would help.

18x8 is a bit wide for a 5g. i had 18x7.5 +42 offset, nitto 555's, and camber kits. i rubbed all over the place.

You cant drive past 50 mph, cause if you do,...you might hit someone trying to avoid a damn pothole.
Even if you have the best vision in the world,... there's always one pot hole thats gonna sneak up on you.

Big Chaze... where abouts in NY? im in scotia, im not getting rims, i was thinkin about getting c-5 18's but decided against it just on the sole reason of those chunks of earth that are missing around here on the roads, i already put in a claim with schenectady county for the pothole that claimed my tire... bastards...

I like both of those rims, but i would personally go with the 18" hacing hart c5's. I dont think you should have to terrible of a time with the lower profile tires. I doubt you have any kind of serious pothole problems. unlike NY The roads here suck. I scouted the roads i travel on so i knew where almost all the bumps/potholes were before I put my rims back on
