Default clutch probs

Ok my clutch had been acting uo lately. Some days when i go out to drive my car the clutch will be fine other days. The clutch will only ingage when it is practicaly on the floor its not even funny. then some other days the clutch is fine. what is the deal with that. is it just time for me to get a new clutch or what. I dont know whats up. Like i jsut came in from driving and the clutch has to be all the way to the floor to you evn feel it grab. is there any qucik fixes i can do. if i were to need a new clutch if that is the case can someone help me cause my car is start to be a bitch to put in gear thanks

What year/mileage do you have? Sounds like your pressure plate is fawked. At the least, try to have Honda adjust the clutch.

I have a 96 honda Accord EX. if the pressure plate is fawkes then should i just replace the whole clutch its self then right get back to me thanks

It'd be a good idea, because they'll need to pull it to fix it anyway, and it's part of the assembly. With a 1996, it's probably due for one anyway.

you might also want to check your hydrolic clutch master cylinder. it sounds like a problem in the hydraulic system when it will work some times and not other times. check the fluid and bleed the system.
