im just not sure about the pistons because some people have said that yes they will work and some others say that they think no because they say h22a pistons in a nonvtec-h23a will smash into the head, anyone know for sure?

the pistons wont fit into an non-vtec H23 setup.
but the H23 VTEC hybrid OR the H23 VTEC from Japan will accept the pistons fine. all Honda did for the H23 VTEC is do what H23 swappers have already been building.
