Window Tint Stripping
#2
I first wiped on some ammonia to soften the film. Then used a razor blade to get all the glue off. Remember to replace the blade often because it will dull rather quickly, and I kept spraying a water & soap solution to keep everything from drying out.

goo gone works really well to remove old adhesives really well.
after using it, be sure to rinse it with soap and water because it can leave behind some residue.

maybe mine were just a pain in the ass because the tint had been on the car for 5 years before i bought it.

Try to get your hands on a steamer. (You know, the thing you use to take off wallpaper) It works pretty well and doesn't take all that long. I used it on my front two windows, and only one little area still has residue on it, and goo gone could fix that quickly.
BTW: This is the best and fastest way to do it.....Good luck.
