How do I remove the factory radio? If anyone here has replaced the factory radio, please let me know how you got the old one out. Thanks.

There are two 8mm bolts behind it, you'll have to reach your arm behind the center console. It's not easy
Also, best of luck finding a way to secure the headunit in after the fact. Both my integras have had the 'falling out radio' syndrome.

Yea, I've got a local shop with a "new" kit that is for our tegs, a certain number of civics and something else. If it doesn't bolt into the back, they can keep it.
Once I find something, I'll let you know. I'm sick of having to push the kit around the head unit back into the dash every time I get in the car.

You'll need a mounting bracket after you replace the factory HU, definitely. I was wondering if I could somehow rig it up without one but there's literally nothing there other than those two 8 mm bolts and the bolts for the pocket (the factory HU is bolted to that pocket as reinforcement).
