I've got a vid with 500,000 hits and I've made $40 off my google adsense account so far. I won't see the money till it reaches the $100 threshold. I'm close though, I'm averaging 10,000-20,000 hits per month lately.

sign up for an adsense account and submit your vid, it takes a week or so to get everything setup. youtube hit me up in my case to see if I wanted to make some money. I have about 1000 hits on my vid last night. I might be able to hit the $100 threshold faster than I thought.
I try to start flame wars on purpose now to keep people coming back.
