who here uses the wireless adapter? How are the speed and reliability of the connection? Also post the best deals for it :o

new one just came out for wireless N ... its $100

you can use the ones from the original xbox though, those are easily half the price or less

I dont think my router even has N on it. I'm just not sure about the speed and being dropped from games.

i got the one for $100. got it last christmas, so it's not the N. works great.

I have the wireless adapter, but I don't use it since I converted one of my routers into a wireless bridge.

Both work very well, so much that I often have the best connection out of everyone in the room when I'm playing COD that I'm chosen as the host.

I have the XBox 360 Wireless adapter (G, not N) and it works perfectly. I stream HD movies and they buffer in 15 seconds or less. Also, I have never experienced a problem gaming.

i've always just used the old xbox adapter and it works fine. they're usually pretty cheap on ebay.

unless you are using your xbox as a server of some type there is no reason to get the N adapter. Nobody here has a connection fast enough to need more than G offers. I used to use the G adapter but have since built a CAT5e cable to run from my router upstairs to my xbox downstairs. I prefer wired, but wireless never really failed me.
