What do you recommend for strings? Mine look like they are about to go.
Also what do you use to clean the strings (if ever). On my old electric guitar I had to wipe them down with something (I forgot what it was) once a week or so. |

There's some string lube that you can use, I have this stuff called Axe Wax, and it's a fretboard / string treatment. It's not really necessary, but really handy if you get alot of sweat and grime into the strings. Also, make sure to take it to a guitar shop and get a setup (if you can't do it yourself). Should usually run around $20, and worth every penny. Make sure it's a good shop (not guitar center).
