Back in 2003 I had a drawing professor. He was a commercial artist who did album covers and book covers mostly. You have seen his work. His best known album cover is:

Great guy too. funny.. and a little nuts... but his class was always a good time.. and he got to know his students.

Well... fast forward to 2009. I found out last month from someone I was tattooing who also had him that he had actually passed away. Very sad to hear that.

Well... today. I met my bosses new apprentice. We're talking.. and he's telling me about his art background.. how his father and grandfather were all artists.. and that his father actually did album covers and book covers..

"What was his name?"

Sure enough.

Is that a self portait in art section? Couldn't really tell as it is different hair in his actual photo, but the mouth area looked the same. If so very
